Remember, not many people go searching for review boards online to post good comments. They're either looking for reviews before using the company or have a grudge about bad service and are looking for somewhere to vent. Rather than take all comments at face value, look for general trends. And if you've had a good experience with a company - share it! †

17/10/2009 I switched to Mac because everyone I work with (website building) said I should. One week in I said I wanted to take it back but they all convinced me to give it a chance. One year on, I wish I'd taken it back. A lot less crashing, no days wasted in the repair shop but none of my programs work on a Mac and there are no Mac versions for nearly all of them so I spend half my day on my old windows laptop anyway. Check your favourite software programs can be bought for Mac BEFORE moving!
